Stand Up for Sderot a Success

Stand Up for Sderot went down on March 17 2009, and for one night Cnaan Bar turned into the funniest place in Jerusalem.  A packed house came out to enjoy David Sidman’s stand-up and raise money for a good cause. For those who missed it, check out this quick clip of Israel’s best comedian doing his thing.

Dan Rothschild opened the show with a raucously funny set to warm up the audience and Joe Martisius emceed the evening.

Stand up for Sderot

David is proud to announce Stand Up For Sderot, an evening of stand up comedy in downtown Jerusalem.  Proceeds from the show will benefit Sderot.  

The show is on Tuesday March 17, 8:20 PM at the Cnaan Bar in Jerusalem.  (r. shamai, upstairs (across the street from Burgers Bar, Mcdonalds and that parking lot.  it’s near Ben Yehuda).  The event is on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=51396310846&ref=ts

David Sidman will be headling, of course.  The show also features Daniel Rothschild, and Joe Martisius will M.C.

Mazal Tov!

The David Sidman Comedy Blog wishes David a hearty congratulations on his recent engagement. Mazal Tov, David and Avigal!

They are such an incredible couple, they love each other so much, and I wish them a relationship filled with happiness, kindness, and of course, lots of laughs. They’re both amazing people (David also happens to be an terrific comedian)–and they deserve each other.

As for more of Dave’s comedy, I promise to post some brand new videos shortly.
